Check it out this Sunday morning 🙏💜

All of us could do with some help, encouragement and love.  Here at Spires Life Church we like to care for one another, encourage one another, support one another and of course pray for one another.  Let us pray for you too!  We care💜

Feelings and Prayer

Because #weareallinthistogether could I encourage you to not minimize the feelings of anyone in this COVID-19 Pandemic season, for we are all vulnerable, and we have not been this way before.

Each of us have different personalities and temperaments in response to all of these things. Some among us very quickly make known how they feel about what ever thing it is that bothers them. Some very quickly make known their irritations about the strange season and about the responses of others to this strange season. Some of us keep things to ourselves.  We all need care, understanding and prayer. Check in on your family, your friend, your neighbour.  Call them, message them, let them know you are there to help.

💜 I encourage you to pray for another in the name of Jesus to our Heavenly Father.🙏

Spires Life Church is praying for our leaders

Spires Life Church would like to honour our Prime Minister, Mr Scott Morrison, and our State Premier, Mr Mark McGowan for their leadership in these trying times.

1 TIMOTHY 2:1-4 (TPT)

1 Most of all, I’m writing to encourage you to pray with gratitude to God. Pray for all men with all forms of prayers and requests as you intercede with intense passion. And pray for every political leader and representative, so that we would be able to live tranquil, undisturbed lives, as we worship the awe-inspiring God with pure hearts. It is pleasing to our Saviour-God to pray for them. He longs for everyone to embrace his life and return to the full knowledge of the truth.

The authority of God

Where everyone has an opinion about how to handle issues relating to what has become a crisis, and frankly your opinion is just one among many other community opinions, so lets honour and pray for our leaders.  These are trying times.

By the way, this is all new territory for our political leaders as it is for us, and each day brings a new challenge, so the decision today could be changed tomorrow. Please be patient.

ROMANS 13: 1-5 (NIV)

Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.

Kids Club – Temporarily On Hold with Immediate Effect

Hi Everyone 🙂

Hope that you are having a good week and that things aren’t too crazy for you.

Pastor Gordon and myself have been in discussions today with regards to the Coronavirus and the new changes that have come to light today.  Whilst we understand that our Kids Club meets the requirement of an “Inside Gathering of Less than 100 People”, we cannot however guarantee that we will be able to meet the social distancing guidelines.  Due to the age of our Kids Club Little People and how tactile and lovable you all are it is very difficult to control or enforce the social distancing requirements, and honestly, nor do we want your loving little hearts to change.

Kids Club will DEFINITELY be back, and we will miss you so much!  You are very special to us.

We will continue to pray for you and your family.

Love and blessings,

Charlene and the Kids Club Team 💜💜💜
